Once it is at your desired temperature, place the cap on your head. 3. Remove the ice pack for headaches from its plastic bag. Place it in the microwave and heat for 30 seconds. After 30 seconds, check the cap to ensure it has reached the desired temperature. If too warm to wear comfortably, let it sit out until it reaches your desired temperature. Once it is at your desired temperature, place the cap on your head.
